“Vivre au Schoenberg – Vivre avec la nature”
Project launched in collaboration with the City of Fribourg and Pro Natura. The aim is to enhance and expand vegetation in the neighborhood. The city wants to plant more trees and convince property owners to enhance the outdoor spaces of their buildings. You too can participate in this project. Numerous native flowers and shrubs in gardens and on balconies should also attract more bees, butterflies, birds, hedgehogs, and lizards. At the same time, this will help improve the climate by creating cooler areas.Twenty people are already participating in this project to promote biodiversity.

The square in front of the Schoenberg community center has been given a new structure.
The large containers will be filled with vine plants to green up the area.
In the meantime, the colourful flags provide shade.

The Vivre au Schoenberg neighbourhood association is committed to supporting the project from the start. As a link between the population and the local authorities, it aims to help define future activities and offerings. What new spaces and outdoor areas does the quarter need? The aim is to improve infrastructure and nature in order to enhance quality of life and social cohesion.
